We are excited to now be able to offer rendered pork lard! This has been a long requested item to add to our farm store and it is finally here!!

Animal fats like pork lard have been mistakenly thought to have caused heart disease. However, studies have shown that couldn't be farther from the truth! Pork lard is good source of fats that support a healthy heart and it is very high in vitamin D. Did you know that after olive oil, which consists of 77 percent monounsaturated fatty acids, lard has the most monounsaturated fats at 48 percent. These fats help to lower blood cholesterol levels and maintain healthy cells.
